Letter to the Community

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

This marks the end of our 2005 2006 Fiscal Year, and the beginning of the next fiscal year.  That means that our new dues and assessment fees are currently due.  In this packet you will find the following:

  • This Letter to Community

  • 2006 2007 FY Dues and Assessment Billing

  • 2006 2007 FY Operating Budget

  • Water System Update Letter

  • Updated ACC Rules and Regulations

The results of the recent vote are as follows.  The Proposed 2006 2007 FY Budget was adopted, including the 10% increase to dues, and the annual audit will be waived.  Unfortunately, only about 25% of residents voted.  We encourage all residents to get involved in the community, attend board meetings, and help preserve the beauty of the community.

The Water System Update Letter is important and relevant to all residents.  The State of Washington Department of Health is making major changes to the water system requirements that will directly affect the community.  The board is taking a proactive approach by putting a plan together to keep in compliance with the changing regulations, fund the upcoming needs, and ensure uninterrupted service and access to safe drinking water in the community.  The board will continue to keep you updated as changes are made.

The Architectural Control Committee updated the ACC Rules and Regulations to include water hook up fees.  Please take a moment to review the enclosed Rules and Regulations, and feel free to contact any member of the ACC with questions regarding this matter.

We look forward to a new year for the community and the changes it will bring.  Hopefully we can all work together to ensure smooth operations and preserve the community.  If you have any questions or would like to contact a board member, you can find their contact information at www.kachess.com, or by contacting Marisa Angrisano at (425)482-0936, or by email at kca.sec.tres@comcast.net.

Respectfully,

Steve Hegge
