KCA Special Meeting

October 9, 2007

The Special Meeting was called to order at approximately 6:08pm at the Las Margaritas in Bellevue, WA.

Directors Absent:  Brad Weber

Member Guests:  Monty M. Moore, Don Bosnick, Jerry Morris, Dave McKenzie, Bob Aigner, Paul Aigner, Tim and Jean Fountain, Tim Swift, Mike Pugel, Cameron McCrindle, Roger Foster, Bob and Mary Beth Davis, Robert Angrisano, and Randy Aliment

Discussed were the roads and water system proposal, and the corresponding vote.  Tom Carmody and Bob Angrisano presented a Power Point presentation, which is attached to these minutes.

Following the presentation, there was an open Question and Answer session.  Discussed were ways to reduce the interest for the financing.  It was suggested that a longer payoff period be researched, as well as a lower interest rate for early payments from homeowners. 

It was reported that the bids are not fixed or guaranteed due to increase oil, material, and labor costs.  It was also reported that the ditches and culverts are being cleaned to allow for better drainage in the community. 

Discussed was how and where recent breaks in the water lines occurred.  Bob Angrisano reported that most of the breaks have been in the saddles and the lines leading to the main line.  It was suggested that instead of passing the current vote, that it be researched and discussed further, then sent out in the form of a 'menu' of options to vote for.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 7:55pm.
